In the video Faded, each of the photographic portraits is filmed from completely out of focus, to a brief moment of perfect focus, until it blurs out again. This continuous oscillation between an absolute strangeness and confusion on one hand, where the faces appear as monsters, aliens, animals, and the extreme sharpness and individuality on the other, emphasize the fragility of the boundaries that define our identities.
